First of all, my name is pronounced “Noel-EE” :). I’ve always liked helping people, starting with being a teacher’s assistant in 5th grade for younger kids. My greatest joy is hearing from clients when they are pleased with the project they did with us and hearing how much it has impacted their lives. When I’m not supporting the Seattle ShelfGenie team, I like one-person “sports” such as bowling, playing pool and darts. I’m a true Washingtonian, having grown up in Federal Way and living in the Seattle area for the last couple decades.

I am life-long Washington State native that has lived in Bellingham my whole life. I grew up surrounded by the construction industry with a plumbing contractor grandfather, pipefitter father, architect uncle, and other family members in the trades. School was my passion in my younger years and I did not plan on being a tradesperson, but rather work as an educator or in the growing tech field of the 1980’s. I had an opportunity to do some painting in the summers between school years and decided to quite college and build my own painting and landscaping business. Over the years I have moved on to more skills such as drywall and carpentry. I have also employed 100’s of tradespeople during the last 30 years and have had up to 50 employees at one time. I have worked all over western Washington doing all types of projects in homes, schools, hospitals, refineries, malls, and much more. Several years ago I also started an online business buying and selling new and used surplus goods, which I now consider a hobby more than a business. I enjoy spending time with my family, cross-fitting, and eating great food. The last several years I have settled into having a small construction business with two to four employees that I work with on a daily basis in the field. When I started looking into ShelfGenie I was greatly impressed by the quality of the product and the manner the local ShelfGenie operates their business. I am excited to be a part of the ShelfGenie of Seattle team as it is a perfect fit for my skills and knowledge.

I was raised in the Inland Northwest to value hard work and DIY ethics. My adventurous spirit has led me to move around a lot, exploring many major cities and life paths. In 2018 I left a successful career in tech, deciding to turn my life-long passion for building into a carpentry career where I could produce work that was more tangible and meaningful. I was trained through the Carpenters Union Apprenticeship Program in Northern California where I learned all aspects of the carpentry trade while working installing cabinets in large multi-family buildings. After moving back to the Pacific Northwest, I started my own carpentry business focusing on residential remodeling and finish carpentry. When I’m not working, I love to travel, tend my garden, spend time with my pets, and attend cultural events with my family. I love installing ShelfGenie because our clients are super friendly, the ShelfGenie team are top-notch lovely people, and it feels great to help make people’s homes more functional and beautiful!

I've always been able to visualize how spaces function and flow together. By listening to my clients' frustrations and desires, while incorporating my own vision, we're able to create customized solutions that add real value to their everyday lives. As a ShelfGenie designer, my goal is to provide the upmost quality service and experience, transforming every space into something truly one of a kind! Originally from south Florida, I moved to Portland in 2017 and starting designing for ShelfGenie there in 2019. I just made Seattle my home in 2023 and am glad to keep designing for ShelfGenie! Outside of work, I'm a sustainability student and abstract artist. I love to travel, experience new cultures, and hike the beautiful Pacific Northwest. I have a real passion for design and helping others. As my dad always said, if you choose to do something you love, you don't have to work a day in your life.

I have a history of combining people and the final product. This can be in music, engineering, or personal projects. ShelfGenie has allowed me to combine the two in a way that’s impactful. Outside of that, I love spending time with my husband, exploring bakeries, and obsessing over dogs.

My journey in customer-focused roles and digital marketing has taught me the importance of listening carefully and paying attention to every detail. As a Design Consultant with ShelfGenie, I specialize in creating customizable storage solutions that transform spaces. I take the time to understand what’s important, designing glide-out systems that make life simpler, more efficient, and organized. I’ve been working with wood since I was 6, learning the craft in our family shop. That early start taught me to love creating with my hands and to value precision and quality. Over the years, I’ve combined that passion with my customer service and cabinet design background, working directly with clients to create custom solutions that bring their visions to life. I take pride in designing organized, practical spaces tailored to how people live. My goal is simple: to deliver efficient designs that work so you don't have to! When I’m not doing cabinet yoga, you’ll find me tinkering with other creative projects or wandering the wilderness of the great PNW!
