Ohio State Fair

The Ohio State Fair has been a favorite family tradition since 1850! Featuring exhilarating rides and all the fair flavors on your tastebuds, it's a tradition you don't want to miss!

This event includes free stages with amazing hypnotists, impressive magicians and wholesome kids' entertainment. It also has activities and exhibits including interactive educational displays, sporting competitions, fine arts show, exotic animals in the free petting zoo, a farm animal delivery room, roving performers, youth agricultural competitions, horse shows, an eight acre natural resources park with free kiddie fishing, wildlife and so much more!

The Grandview Hop

The Grandview Hop is Grandview's community night market / street festival series. Once a month from June through September, we invite the community to our OPEN STREET Night Market along Grandview Avenue. We close Grandview Avenue for pedestrians only from 1st to 5th Avenue (a half-mile!) for the community to enjoy an open-air market featuring more than 200 pop-up shops and food trucks, along with live music, charity beer garden, activities, and more. In addition, the Hop offers a "Community Stroll" that extends all along Grandview Avenue from 1st Avenue up to 5th Avenue (including several side streets) to encourage attendees to explore more than 50 local brick-and-mortar businesses, restaurants and boutiques, many of whom offer shopping deals and late night specials!

The Hop takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. once a month along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th Avenues, with our popular open street night market featuring live music, food trucks, a charity beer garden and more. For 2024, we are planning to expand the street closure of Grandview Ave all the way up to 5th Avenue, so stay tuned!!

Thousands of attendees join us during each event – which are free to attend and open to all ages (and leashed pets, too)!

Uptown Westerville Fourth Friday Festival

Join us as Westerville closes down State Street and invites the community to historic Uptown Westerville for the Fourth Friday festivals, presented by Mount Carmel St. Ann’s Hospital.

Gather to enjoy a summer concert series at City Hall, catch the roving entertainment, and visit the food trucks, pop-up vendors, and your favorite Uptown Westerville restaurants and retail shopping. Activities sponsored by OrthoNeuro.

Adults can take advantage of Uptown's Designated Outdoor Refreshment Area, and stroll about with adult beverages sold by several Uptown establishments.

Main Street Delaware: First Friday

First Fridays are from 6 pm – 9 pm and each month offers a different themed event, free children's activities, and businesses stay open late. This is a family time to join your neighbors, walk the shops, eat at local restaurants and enjoy the community that Main Street has helped to rebuild.

First Friday was inspired by the "good old days" in Delaware, when families would take in a movie, have a hamburger at the Hamburger Inn, stop for a soda at the Dime Store and spend time with friends, making memories. We believe Downtown Delaware is still the place to be. First Fridays include a themed event, free children’s activities and businesses stay open late. This is a family time to join your neighbors, walk the shops, eat at local restaurants and enjoy the community that Main Street has helped to rebuild.
