The Grandview Hop
The Grandview Hop is Grandview's community night market / street festival series. Once a month from June through September, we invite the community to our OPEN STREET Night Market along Grandview Avenue. We close Grandview Avenue for pedestrians only from 1st to 5th Avenue (a half-mile!) for the community to enjoy an open-air market featuring more than 200 pop-up shops and food trucks, along with live music, charity beer garden, activities, and more. In addition, the Hop offers a "Community Stroll" that extends all along Grandview Avenue from 1st Avenue up to 5th Avenue (including several side streets) to encourage attendees to explore more than 50 local brick-and-mortar businesses, restaurants and boutiques, many of whom offer shopping deals and late night specials!
The Hop takes place from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. once a month along Grandview Avenue between 1st and 5th Avenues, with our popular open street night market featuring live music, food trucks, a charity beer garden and more. For 2024, we are planning to expand the street closure of Grandview Ave all the way up to 5th Avenue, so stay tuned!!
Thousands of attendees join us during each event – which are free to attend and open to all ages (and leashed pets, too)!

Main Street Delaware: First Friday
First Fridays are from 6 pm – 9 pm and each month offers a different themed event, free children's activities, and businesses stay open late. This is a family time to join your neighbors, walk the shops, eat at local restaurants and enjoy the community that Main Street has helped to rebuild.
First Friday was inspired by the "good old days" in Delaware, when families would take in a movie, have a hamburger at the Hamburger Inn, stop for a soda at the Dime Store and spend time with friends, making memories. We believe Downtown Delaware is still the place to be. First Fridays include a themed event, free children’s activities and businesses stay open late. This is a family time to join your neighbors, walk the shops, eat at local restaurants and enjoy the community that Main Street has helped to rebuild. As I've grown older it has become more difficult to get down and look in the lower shelves of my kitchen cupboards. I visited ShelfGenie's display at the Ohio State Fair and arranged for a representative to come to my house and show me what could be done. I liked what he showed me and it was within my budget. A few days later I decided I wanted waste and recycle containers put in my pantry. I made a call and it was done. Within a short time two workers arrived with all the assembled drawers and in a few hours the lower shelves in my cupboards and my whole pantry were transformed and within easy reach. My kitchen looks the same on the outside, but inside getting things out of the lower shelves is so much easier and things in the pantry have to try much harder to get lost. Thanks ShelfGenie.

A++++!! They are amazing!! They organized our pantry and build shelves into the pantry that slide and make everything at your fingertips. They are BEAUTIFUL!! They work incredibly well. Mike came out first to meet with me and talk through what I wanted and he drew up a basic design for it. From there we tweaked it and he took it back to John who came out to measure and also did the installation after they were built. There was not one speck of dust left behind during the process. My experience was EXCEPTIONAL!
