Our ShelfGenie of Charleston Team

Carly was born in the Midwest and moved to Charleston in 2022. She immediately fell in love with the homes in the area and realized her dream of working with homes in the low country. When she forund ShelfGenie she realized she could match her passion for people and organization. Her goal is to make your space work for you and to make your life easier one shelf, cabinet or room at a time.

Scott has been a certified installer with ShelfGenie since October 2024. He was born and raised in Boston, MA. Scott has worked in the mortgage business for over 20 years while living in California and has also been an active real estate investor since 2003. He learned how to do repairs and renovations after buying a 31 unit apartment building when he moved to South Carolina in 2006 and renovated 28 out the 31 units himself before selling. In his free time, Scott enjoys paddleboarding on the lake in front of his house, working out and spending time at the beach at his vacation rental.

Tresa and Chris Dorris bring years of experience and expertise to the ShelfGenie family. Tresa has a degree in interior design and has extensive experience with residential design–cabinetry, granite, millwork, etc. Chris is a licensed general contractor and seasoned business owner. They enjoy redesigning spaces to improve function and livability and believe ShelfGenie is a perfect fit with their talents. Nashville natives and parents of six children, Tresa and Chris were excited to move nearer the coast where they can more readily pursue their hobbies of fishing, kayaking, and going to the beach.
